Few character arcs on the show have been as impressive or expertly crafted as Carol Peletier's. Around since the first season, she's destined to see things through till the end.
Her once quiet and passive nature was removed as the show progressed, and she grew into one of the show’s most fearless and daring fighters, someone willing to do whatever it takes to protect the ones she loves.
This didn't always work in her favour, but thanks to Melissa McBride’s seamless performance and the innocence Carol exudes she has always been a completely endearing and lovable presence.
It’s easy to see why she’s getting a spin-off, and if she continues to grow the way she has, there’s no denying her place as one of TV’s most compelling creations.
