The episode Heads Up ends with Alexandria's old church tower collapsing into the community, allowing the walker herd to get inside the walls. Start to Finish picks up directly after this, as Rick, Carl, Michonne and Gabriel band together to get to safety.
The mid-season finale, the episode features an emotionally charged clash between Carl and Ron (the distrustful of son of Pete), sees the selfless death of Deanna, and ends with an almighty cliffhanger when Daryl, Abraham and Sasha come face-to-face with some heavily armed Saviours.
It's an epic and action-packed episode rife with compelling character development and stunning visuals, even if it loses points for its uncomfortably exasperating feud between Carol and Morgan, two characters who by this point had become over-the-top caricatures of themselves, with laughably melodramatic results.
