2. Carol

Carol is one of the most changed characters between comic and show. She seems to be taking the whole zombie apocalypse situation reasonably well, and even starts a relationship with Tyreese, though he cheats on her with Michonne after she realises he was an NFL player for the Atlanta Falcons. At this point, Carol's mental state rapidly declines, and she even genuinely suggests a polygamic relationship with Lori and Rick. This is of course rejected and Carol goes into meltdown mode which ultimately leads to her committing suicide. She allows herself to be bitten by a lone walker, and initially enjoys the pain as it meant death. She died in Tyreese's arms before being finished off by Andrea. Of course, so many things in her story are changed, and it seems incredibly unlikely that this will be the path Carol follows in the show.
