It's official: The Walking Dead season ten finale is being released on October 4th, after months of delay.

With the penultimate episode ending on one of the show's biggest ever cliffhangers, showing an unhinged Beta and his new hoard converging on the Survivors, the wait for the finale has been excruciating for fans.

Knowing The Walking Dead and its most recent risks, and after seeing the episode's latest teaser trailer, there is no question that audiences are going to have to say goodbye to a major character or two in the coming fight.

But that's where The Walking Dead thrives. Every time a big confrontation comes to pass, someone dies - and often unexpectedly - but up until that episode airs fans everywhere are forced to theorise about who's time has come.

Last season, the show said goodbye to Enid, Tara and Henry (amongst others) in particularly bloody fashion, and this season alone has seen the deaths of Siddiq, Dante, Laura, Earl and Alpha. But with Beta more insane and persistent than ever, and the Survivors scattered and trapped, just who else is going to join the deceased?

Here are ten casualty predictions for season ten's finale, A Certain Doom. Major spoilers follow.

10. Rosita Espinosa

A bit of a left field pick to start us off, Rosita (Christian Serratos) has been surrounded by death for the entire show. Losing Abraham and Siddiq is bad enough, but the real reason death may be on the cards for Rosita is her connections to the world.

In a relationship with Gabriel and raising a young daughter, Rosita is more emotionally connected to other characters than most, and it's these characters fans need to watch out of. Glenn died whilst Maggie was pregnant; Abraham died whilst growing close to Sasha; Enid died whilst going strong with Alden; and Tammy Rose was killed after adopting baby Adam.

It's a trend The Walking Dead likes to take advantage of, because these characters leaving the show pack the meanest punch.

Rosita is no exception. She's tough and she's been around longer than nearly any other character left on the show, but she's more connected to the world than ever. Gabriel giving her his hat a few episodes ago might be hinting at his demise, but wouldn't it be a mean curveball if Rosita was really the one to go?

In the comics, she dies during Alpha's pike scene, but since that has long passed on the show, her character seems stronger and more compelling than ever.

She's probably safe, but don't take anything for granted.
