The Walking Dead: Ranking The Likelihood Of Who Died In The Season 6 Finale

If they stick to the comics, then Glenn is the one who is going to die. It wouldn't even be a question, because that's exactly how Negan announces his arrival in issue #100. 

However, the problem they've created with Glenn is that they've already 'killed' him this season. That was one of the big mistakes they made this year, the finale proving that they didn't learn from it, and it means that they might be less keen on going through with an actual Glenn death now. 

Glenn's is a death that would carry the required weight though, because he has been on the show since the very beginning, and is undoubtedly one of the most popular characters. It would also add heartbreak to Maggie's story, without the need for beating in the skull of a pregnant woman, and lead to her becoming much more of a leader and hardened character, much like in the comics. He does his best in the finale to protect Maggie - but will that earn him a pass from Negan, or ensure he's firmly within his crosshairs? 

The fact that this is how it happens in the comics, plus the fakeout death earlier in the season, means that it seems less likely than it did at the beginning of Season 6. But maybe that's exactly what the producers are counting on?
