The Walking Dead Season 11 Review - 5 Ups & 3 Downs From "Lockdown"

Fans were treated to a recap that set the stage for what they can expect from the final episodes as they saw moments from the past eleven seasons featuring the show's most iconic characters.

Despite only being just over 30 seconds long, this sequence does a great job at establishing where the characters started from, before seeing where the remaining members are today. With a voiceover narration by an unknown child, this recap retells the past seasons as a story about how people survived.

It's safe to assume that this could easily be a story being told by an older Judith, reflecting some of the key events at the ending of the comic book series with a grown-up Carl Grimes living in a society with the other survivors from the many issues. But as the series has diverted from the source material on several occasions, it's safe to assume that this could also be an entirely different character altogether.

Whoever it may be, the scene brilliantly reminds everyone about the many heroes and villains who helped to make the show the success it is today. It's also a great way to see how the characters will choose to survive as they find themselves in a predicament with the Commonwealth and the people who run its government.
