The Walking Dead Season 6: 10 Major Predictions
5. More From The Comics
The Walking Dead is based on the graphic novels of the same name, and tends to use that source material as and when is necessary, but is also more than happy to change things up to better serve the TV show. For example, Daryl, generally the most popular character on the series, isn't even in the comics, and there're some things that just aren't practical to do on television (note Rick's missing hand in the image above).
However, as they get more into Alexandria, expect to see more moments and characters taken from the page and put on the screen. We already know that Safe-Zone members Dr Denise Cloyd and Heath will be appearing, portrayed by Merritt Wever and Corey Hawkins respectively. It's likely that there'll be other new additions along the way, and if they introduce places such as the Hilltop Community, then we'd get the likes of Paul 'Jesus' Monroe as well.
Something like the storyline No Way Out should play a big part in at least the first few episodes of season 6, especially with what we've heard about those 600+ walkers, and there should be many more arcs directly from the comics to come.
