The Walking Dead Season 6: 10 Things Episode 13 Got Right
8. Carol Hyperventilating
The entire scene with Carol hyperventilating was natural, it was drawn out, it was utterly fantastic. The confused look on Maggie's face precisely mirrored the audience watching on, and the whole scene captured Carol's cunning mind and her psychological trauma at the same time. She was partially panicking over the fact that she was going to ave to kill her way out of trouble again, though Carol also painted herself as an innocent mother, out of depth in the new world, and of course that simply isn't true. It was some masterful work by Melissa McBride to the point where Carol's split persona became spectacularly blurred. Acting within acting.
