The Walking Dead Season 6: 10 Things Episode 15 Got Right
1. Cliffhangers
'East' was a tense, tense standalone episode, but there's every chance it will look even better once the finale makes it onto our screens. The penultimate episode of the season served its purpose of setting up an insane finale. Mission accomplished.
So many characters were left in peril, including: Glenn, Michonne and Rosita being captured by Dwight, Daryl's open-ended 'death' scene, Morgan looking for the vanished Carol, while Maggie's pregnancy hit a critical moment. They're just a selection of the massive threads that need to be picked up in the finale, and Episode 15 set them up very well indeed.
While the pacing of entire seasons may seem jarring at times with The Walking Dead, individual episodes can get it spot on, and 'East' was one of them. It was calm and considered at times, but the tension rose and each storyline culminated in a terrific cliffhanger. Roll on the finale, roll on Negan.
