5. Funeral

One quick shot showed the Hilltop residents holding a funeral pyre for their loss. It may just be a brief glimpse into their lives, but it offers an insight into how they operate as people. They're still surviving as though the world is operational. They're still human, and resemble the attitude of the Alexandrians when we first saw them. Despite burying the dead upon arrival at Alexandria, we don't really know how Rick and Co. disposed of the bodies from the mid-season premiere, but you could probably guess it wasn't too dignified. You'd expect the ongoing survivors this far into the new world would be hardened to the point where funerals simply didn't exist anymore, but these residents are clinging to humanity.
