2. Morgan

There's going to be AT LEAST one big death in the back half of this season if you believe the speculation that 6B is going to provide a thumping kick to the feels, and if I were a betting man, I'd be tempted to back Morgan to be in the firing line. His return was much-publicised and he was prominently featured in the promotional material, and so far he's been a solid presence in the show. I like Morgan and his characters brings a new dimension to the group. But will his philosophy of mercy prove to be his downfall. He's already fought with Carol over the issue, and when Negan arrives on the scene, how likely is he to appreciate a peaceful man like Morgan? It could come down to a simple 'kill or be killed' decision, and if that's the case, the principled Morgan would stand firm and ultimately pay the price. It would be a heroic and devastating death for the group, but with Paul 'Jesus' Monroe also set to join in the action, you get the feeling like a main man must die to make room. I don't want it to be Morgan, I really don't, but I can't shake the feeling that he could be chosen. Chances of dying: 8/10
