The Walking Dead Season 7: 10 Best Deaths

The Episode: The First Day of the Rest of Your Life

How It Happened: After being captured during her suicide mission at the Sanctuary, Sasha found herself caught up in Negan's big move to deal with Alexandria. Rather than be used against her friends, Sasha played along with Negan long enough to accompany the Saviors on their trip, which saw her stowing away inside a coffin as part of the show. Inside, Sasha took the suicide pill Eugene had provided her earlier, passing away and reanimating just in time for Negan to open the coffin outside of Alexandria.

Why It's On This List: Between the announcement months ago that Sonequa Martin-Green would be leading the new Star Trek series and the general feeling of finality for the character in the last few episodes of the season, it wasn't really a big surprise when Sasha went through with taking her own life. That said, the first hour of the episode helped send the character - who had been around since season three - off in a pretty poignant way, even bringing back Abraham to do so. After losing so much over the years, like Tyreese, Bob, and Abe, it was nice to see Sasha get to go out peacefully rather than violently.
