The Walking Dead Season 7: 10 Fatal Mistakes It Must Avoid
1. Inconsistency
There's one overarching problem that simply must be resolved if people are to be convinced that The Walking Dead is a premium quality TV show and that's to ensure there's a consistency running through each season.
Season 6 was a peak example of The Walking Dead's consistency issue. The opening episodes were terrific, followed by filler. Slow-moving episodes can often provide phenomenal drama in their own right, but slow episodes for the sake of slow episodes is criminal.
Action can bubble to bursting point, before fizzling out in the next episode without any consideration. The second half of the season was largely incredible, but a couple of episodes near the end of the run faltered and killed the momentum, before the finale gave fans the most disappointing ending of all.
