The Walking Dead Season 7: 10 Fatal Mistakes It Must Avoid
2. No More Fake-Outs
Please, Walking Dead, fans are begging you. Glenn's fake death at the start of Season 6 was truly remarkable. If that was the end, it was shocking, gruesome, and utterly, utterly devastating. It felt real.
That was until the writers penned a small gap under the dumpster, and a contrived escape route came to life. The survival ruined a dreadfully shocking scene. The writers simply can't engineer ridiculous situations like that again.
The same goes for Daryl too. Ending an episode like that towards the close of the season was unsatisfactory to say the least. Everyone knew Dwight hadn't blown Daryl's head off, so why do the writers keep believing the fans have the IQ of the walkers trudging around their world? No more fake deaths, please.
