The Walking Dead Season 7: 3 Ups And 4 Downs From 'The Other Side'

2. Daryl And Maggie Talk It Out

Neither Daryl nor Maggie get a lot to do in this episode, with the bulk of their time spend hiding from the Saviours.

Once they're done playing hide-and-seek, though, the episode does at least allow for one nice character moment between the pair, where they open up to each other about Glenn's death and the battle against Negan.

The two have both been on the show a very long time, and massively affected (albeit in different ways) by the arrival of Negan, so it was good to see them get this brief moment to talk things out and move forward together, especially given Glenn's death has largely been unaddressed for so long.

Lauren Cohan and Norman Reedus are both excellent performers, with Maggie and Daryl two interesting characters, and that helped sell the emotional stakes of the scene to make it all the more compelling.
