The Walking Dead Season 7: 6 Ups And 4 Downs From 'Say Yes'

Downs...

4. The Scavengers Are Still A Bit Ridiculous

The primary reason for Rick and Michonne's trip was to get the guns they needed in return for the Scavengers' help in the pending war against Negan.

They get them, take them back to Trash City, and of course - despite there being over 60 guns - it's not enough for Jadis. Which isn't much of a surprise, given she isn't a character wholly worthy of our trust yet (and maybe never will be), but does serve as a reminder of how weird and out-of-place the Scavengers feel on the show.

"Guns. More." is her response when she sees them, and it's still baffling why they talk like that (maybe we'll get an explanation that makes sense one day, but I don't hold out too much hope). Even in an episode that's a bit more fun, they're still a difficult group to accept - and also quite terrible at negotiations here, given Rick goes from taking 10 guns to 20 just by telling her to "say yes".

That being said, the cat entering the negotiations was pretty unexpected and funny, so it wasn't all bad.
