The Walking Dead Season 7: 6 Ups And 4 Downs From 'Say Yes'

1. And Their Badassery

Aside from showcasing their relationship, Say Yes also makes sure to remind us that Rick and Michonne are both total badasses when it comes to dealing with zombies.

While this isn't perhaps such a big deal for Rick - though it's confirmation that he's really getting his groove back after being so broken down by Negan - it works really well for Michonne. Not that her being a killing machine was in question as such, but more that the show hasn't shown it nearly enough - she's simultaneously one of the show's best characters and one of its most underused.

Thankfully she really gets to unsheathe the katana and let loose with it here, and it's brilliant to see her in full sword-swinging, walker-killing mode. The scene behind the truck, where we see her beheading walkers only in silhouette, is particularly awesome.

Now, onto what the episode didn't do so well...
