The Walking Dead Season 8: 4 Ups And 3 Downs From 'The King, The Widow, And Rick'

1. Rosita And Michonne Get Involved

Granted it's because of real-life circumstances (Christian Serratos' pregnancy, Danai Gurira filming Black Panther) but it's still a shame that neither Rosita or Michonne have featured much this year. Michonne has long been one of the show's most badass characters, and was also growing into more of a leadership figure, while Rosita started coming into her own towards the end of Season 7 - but both have been stuck at Alexandria and hardly seen in Season 8.

They go off on their own mission this week, and while the actual motivations and point is a little muddled, it's cool to see the pair of them back in action, and offers another relatively new team-up.

They're clearly still weakened, but that just adds more suspense to their scene in the warehouse (Michonne is probably safe for now, but there's a legitimate chance Rosita could be killed off this season), gives the episode an injection of energy entering its final quarter, and has the episode's best moment.

Rosita blowing that guy up out of nowhere is ridiculous, but man is it fun.
