3. Enid

Another of the big deaths of the episode, Enid's been kicking around since the fifth season, with most of her development coming in later years via her relationships with Carl and Maggie.

Enid's come a long way since Carl's death, becoming someone determined to let the light shine through at Hilltop and trying to serve the community as best she can (and with not a turtle in sight). The Calm Before goes even further in this regard by developing her relationship with Alden much more, showing just how happy the once moody teenager has become, and thus making her death hit harder than it might once have done.
