The Wire Cast: Where Are They Now?
6. Lance Reddick
The heroic Cedric Daniels is a victim of the Baltimore Police Department’s rigid system. Wanting to shift from stat chasing to real police work proves impossible, and he ultimately makes too many enemies in high places.
As you’d imagine for a character played by Lance Reddick, he is a uniformed authority figure who speaks with great gravitas and has little time for nonsense. He has transferred his regal chops to the likes of Law & Order and CSI (playing an FBI agent on both) and the John Wick series (a particularly fun turn as Charon the spooky concierge).
He took his vibe to new heights on Fringe, where he starred as head honcho Phillip Broyles, overseer of the titular special division. He also twisted and spoofed his usual serious demeanour with appearances in the likes of It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia and The Eric Andre Show.
He can currently be found co-starring on Bosch, back to his cop show roots and playing Deputy Chief Irvin Irving, unsurprisingly a buttoned down authority figure. He is also a highly skilled jazz musician with a few releases to his name.
