The X-Files: 10 Questions We Still Need Answered

9. Is The Public Now Aware Of Alien Life?

The season finale of the revival/season ten, My Struggle Part 2, ended on a cliffhanger. Mulder was ill, fallen victim to the Spartan virus. Agent Miller had rescued him from the clutches of the Smoking Man, but he was teetering on the edge. Scully was racing to save him, having synthesized a cure using her own blood, which contained alien DNA. Yet when she arrived, she realized she could not cure him - the vaccine would not be enough as his condition was too grave. Instead, he would need stem cells - from their long departed son William no less. And then an alien ship appeared over the crowded bridge on which they were standing, in full view of hundreds of people, if not more in you count the surrounding buildings and streets, the latter of which were all packed with cars. Will all those witnesses retain their memories of this incident? Is the existence of extraterrestrial life now publicly known in The X-Files universe?
