13. Remember Him?

The late John Neville played the Well Manicured Man perfectly through several seasons of The X-Files, right up until he was killed off in the 1998 big screen movie. A man of science, he colluded with the Smoking Man to bring about alien colonization while secretly working against the aliens right under their noses to develop a vaccine against the virus that would be used to enslave humanity. Yet despite working closely with ol' Smokey, he despised the man's cold-blooded methods. While a fantastic character, he has been long removed from the equation, so it was interesting to see the show feature several still frames of him in the opening teaser of My Struggle Part 2. It was a little WTF - will we really see him again, perhaps in a flashback with a different actor playing him? - but more than likely, it was just a tribute to a great actor who was stellar in the supporting role given to him.
