11 Things You Totally Missed In Friends
1. The Central Perk Seats Were Reserved
With the exception of a couple episodes, where they find another group sitting there or it's taken by 'the bullies', the group always manage to get the prime spots in Central Perk: the big orange sofa, withe large coffee table in front of it, and additional seats at either end.
Obviously this could just be attributed to it being a sitcom, and they need a regular spot, but it's a pretty busy coffee house and there's never an explanation given as to exactly how they always manage to snag the best seats in it. Then when the show arrived on Netflix at the beginning of this year, the mystery was finally solved.
There's a reserved sign placed on the table, which means that it was always held back for the friends. It's a huge piece of evidence, but one that passed everyone by for years. While this may be because they were such regular customers, one fan theory does suggest that it was Gunther who reserved the table for them, in order to make Rachel happy because of his love for her.
