We still don't know how or if Titans will co-exist with other live-action DC adaptations, but the fact that Nightwing is leading the series shows that some of the sidekicks of top-tier DC heroes aren't completely off the table. If that's the case, then we suggest that Aquaman's protege Aqualad get added to the Titans roster. Specifically, we'd love to see Kaldur'ahm, the version of the character created for the Young Justice TV series, make an appearance. Kaldurahm was created by Greg Weisman, Brandon Vietti, and Phil Bourassa specifically for the animated show, but was quickly adapted into comics lore by Geoff Johns and Ivan Reis in 2010. Kaldur'ahm is known for most of his life as Jackson Hyde, from Silver City, New Mexico. He's the son of Black Manta and was given to humans for adoption by Aquaman's wife, Mera in order to protect him. Once he becomes a teenager, however, he begins to discover his superhuman abilities and the truth about his origin is revealed. Kaldur'ahm can breathe underwater, has enhanced strength, and can adapt his eyes to see in the darkest depths of the ocean. He has gills on the side of his neck and tattoos on his arms that glow when he uses his abilities. He can also create solid objects out of water such as swords and shields, can control and manipulate water, and can project bio-electric energy blasts. Aqualad could be a great addition to the Titans team, and was one of the best parts of the Young Justice animated series. He also adds a bit of diversity to the roster, and could have a great dynamic with Nightwing, as both are natural born leaders with famous mentors.
