Top 50 Iconic TV Characters of the 90s

30. Mr. Feeny - Boy Meets World

50sFeeny What can you say about George Feeny? Well, he was the teacher to Cory, Shawn, Topanga and Eric, as well as the principal of the school they attended. But it didn't end there, he was also Cory and Eric's next door neighbor who often could be found planting flowers and mentoring the boys with their problems. At first Mr. Feeny was just a strict teacher but as the series progressed be became much more then that, he became a mentor to the kids and someone who they could go to for advice. Sometimes I wish I had a Mr. Feeny to turn to, then again, don't we all?

29. Charles - Charge in Charge

68260 Charles in Charge may have ended in 1990 but you can't deny that he was in charge of our days and our nights. Lets face it, he made babysitting cool again. Charles played a live in babysitter who seemed to be able to babysit everybody except for his friend Buddy, who always seemed to be stuck in some sort of a jam. Charles was far too responsible for a 19 year old which quite frankly gave us kids a bad wrap but you can't deny his popularity, and on top of that the show was actually pretty good with some funny moments sprinkled in.

28. Cosmo Kramer - Seinfeld

Cosmo_Kramer If you happened to read my last article (shameless plug) then you already know I'm as big of a Seinfeld fan as they come, both literally and figuratively. Kramer is perfect for a list like this. His obnoxious, goofy, free spirited way of life made him such a memorable character. Out of the entire Seinfeld cast he definitely stands out on his own, and that's saying something. Thanks for the memories Cosmo.

27. Screech - Saved By the Bell

screech Screech was quite a character. He was the goofy nerd of the gang in Saved by the Bell who was always after the heart of Lisa Turtle. When he wasn't day dreaming about her, he was Zack Morris's partner in crime. Doing whatever needed to be done in order to help Zack fulfill his schemes. Screech was the perfect side kick with juuust the right amount of "I want to punch that guy in the face" quality. If you grew up watching Saved by the Bell then it should be no surprise to you why he made the cut. Now a days you can see Screech, well.. . no where. Zoinks!

26. Carlton Banks - The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

carlton_480x360 Carlton Banks is by far the best dancer who made the list. He's the smart, arrogant, naive, funny, Tom Jones loving cousin to Will Smith in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. He's portrayed as the smart one and often the voice of reason yet he always seems to get wrapped up in what Will's doing. He's obsessed with school and money, dresses preppy and always seeme to be making narcissistic comments about himself which always resulted in a slap to the back of his head. All he ever wanted was to be liked by Will and make his father proud. Not only did he accomplish that but lets face it, he made us proud too..
