The Walking Dead: 10 Questions And Answers To Current Mysteries

5. Who Is Bob Stookey?

Bob Stookey first appeared in season four and doesn't have much of a back story up to this point. What is known about Bob is that he was found by Daryl after being the sole survivor of two separate groups that were overrun by walkers. Other than knowing Bob has a medical background, he also has a history of alcohol dependency and feels that he is a curse to groups of survivors who find him and take him in. As Bob is a fairly fresh character, there's plenty of time to build him up further. That is of course if he's worth building, and isn't just zombie fodder for a future episode. When Bob was first introduced it was easy to believe that he was a spy for the Governor and may have been the one feeding rats to the walkers and trying to destabilise the group from within. Although we don't know who was feeding the rats, it's a remote possibility that Bob was the one doing it as we don't know his true state of mind and what his story was prior to joining the survivors. In the end I think this could be a little bit of a let down in the fact that Bob Stookey will just end up being another survivor and doesn't commit much to the group or the story. I hope that I'm wrong and Bob steps up in a huge way as he's a classic redemption style character. Chances are that when he does go out, he does it saving the group or a specific member.
