The Walking Dead Season 4 Finale: 12 Big Questions That Need Answering

Basically, who is going to die?

In a little over 24 hours, we will discover the answer to the Walking Dead's heavily advertised slogan - "who will survive?" - when the show returns one more time with the season four finale. That battle cry fits the bill for fans who have been speculating as to what will happen to Rick Grimes and his not-so-merry bands of survivors before the summer break. It's also the latest in a long line of questions that the show's notoriously slow-build and shocking writing has inspired this season - questions that have seen the rumour mill grind more than usual for this finale event. Intriguingly, the show's own Michonne, Danai Gurira told Digital Spy that none of the predictions she has read have been correct - but then she's probably contractually obliged to say that... "No-one's going to be able to figure out this ending - so it's going to be a really exciting thing to watch people respond to!" What is almost certain, given the seemingly endless hints from show-makers and actors is that the finale will end on a cliffhanger. Kirkman himself leaves the most lasting indication, and it seems that the writers have consciously been tasked with building hype for the fifth season: "The anticipation for the next season after this finale is unfortunately going to be a lot more heightened than it has been between any other season. So it's going to be a rough summer for Walking Dead fans waiting for us to come back in the fall." So what can we expect? Who will die? Who will survive? What new horrors and new friends are we yet to meet in what promises to be the most explosive Walking Dead finale to date? Read on to discover the 11 biggest questions that the finale has to address...
