WandaVision: 10 Insane Fan Theories You Need To Know

The Marvel Cinematic Universe will be bringing back several villains throughout Phase Four, with Loki leading his own show on Disney+, and Zemo and Georges Batroc set to return in Falcon and the Winter Soldier. What if WandaVision was secretly adding Ultron to this list?

The Avengers villain has strong ties to both Wanda and Vision, working against Earth's Mightiest Heroes with the former, and building Vision's body, with a view to possess it himself. Since Ultron could switch bodies and survive outside of a physical form, would it be too unreasonable for him to have survived the events of the second Avengers movie in some capacity?

There is no doubt that when Vision became sentient there was still a trace of Ultron left, with this theory suggesting the villain will somehow use this link to be with Wanda once again. Throughout Age of Ultron, the villain could have become incredibly close to Wanda, even going so far as to fall in love with her. This is what ultimately allowed Vision to fall in love with her years later.

With Ultron still existing in some way, the warped reality Wanda is experiencing could be his doing. Knowing she could never love him back after what happened, Ultron projects himself as Vision through their connection, and gives Wanda exactly what she wants. Of course, the truth will come to pass sooner or later, and Wanda will be forced to confront the villain while simultaneously remembering that her beloved Vision is still dead.
