WandaVision: 8 Characters Who Could Still Make A Shocking Appearance

2. Tobey Maguire Or Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man

Since the previous entry was qualified as Tom Holland's Spider-Man, it probably wasn't too difficult to figure out that this entry would be another version of the character. Alfred Molina is returning as Doc Ock, Jamie Foxx is returning as Electro, and the rumour is that both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will also be reprising their roles as Peter Parker.

Maguire was reportedly seen at a costume fitting back in December, which begs the question, why are Marvel yet to confirm his involvement in the movie? Could it be because the plan is to announce either his, Andrew Garfield's, or both of their returns in the form a cameo in WandaVision?

This is the kind of shock that would be ruined by a casting confirmation beforehand, and as with Tom Holland's potential cameo, would make a lot of sense should Wanda be directly involved in the creation of the multiverse. If it is her power that ultimately creates a rift in the universe, surely Westview would be where these alternate characters would initially show up.

There is a theory that, since WandaVision is set around 7 months before Far From Home, she has already created the multiverse and is the reason J. Jonah Jameson has crossed over into the MCU. If she has already brought the Daily Bugle reporter into this universe, why not a Peter Parker or two?
