WandaVision: 8 More Questions Raised After Episode 3
4. Could There Be A Connection Between Geraldine And The Ads?
With each episode of WandaVision taking the form of a sitcom, they have so far all been broken up by a commercial break, and while they haven't yet made a true impact on the narrative of the series, there must be a reason behind each of them.
Stark, Strucker, and HYDRA have all played big parts in Wanda's life, but are the ads even something she is seeing? It seems unlikely that these have been put in place simply as Easter eggs and references to the MCU's past, so there must be some sort of connection to Westview that hasn't been fully revealed yet.
In episode three, Geraldine tells Wanda that she has been working a temp job for an advertising agency, and after helping her boss with a slogan for a new breakfast cereal, was given the job full time. What are the odds that this is the ad shown in episode four?
The commercial she was working on was for a cereal based around marshmallow moon men, which could easily be related back to Wanda's life. These moon men could either be Thanos and his invading alien army, or even SWORD themselves since they are historically based in space. This could potentially be the avenue for the ads to start playing a bigger role in the series moving forward.
