WandaVision Episode 5: 8 Biggest Questions We Need Answering

1. Could SWORD Have Sent 'Pietro' In?

Wandavision episode 5
Marvel Studios

Isn't it a bit suspicious that not long after Wanda told her sons about her brother, and admitted to his absence making her sad that he just so happened to appear on her front doorstep with seemingly no explanation? Could this be a deception employed by SWORD themselves in another attempt to infiltrate Westview?

They can see much of what is going on within Wanda's bubble, and they know from the grief Monica described that the loss of Pietro is clearly a huge motivation for her actions in Westview. Knowing this, is it possible that SWORD have sent another agent in like they did with Agent Franklin, to try and manipulate these emotions?

When SWORD sent in Franklin he was perceived as a threat and immediately dispatched by Wanda, but an agent disguised as a 'recast' Pietro wouldn't be turned away so quickly, potentially giving the agency someone on the inside.

Earlier in the episode they figured out that they could get tech through the barrier that didn't need to be altered, so who's to say this same rule wouldn't apply with a human?

If he was already dressed in the 1980's style to fit this particular episode, he could in theory enter the town without being altered, and with his mind still in tact, ready to gain Wanda's trust on behalf of SWORD.
