Watchmen TV Show - 10 Theories From The New Teaser

When fans learnt that the television series would contain a character called 'Agent Blake', there was an outcry that they had somehow resurrected Edward Blake, known better by his superhero alias, The Comedian - the first character to die within Watchmen itself.

Then it was revealed that Jean Smart was playing the role of Agent Blake, and a whole lot of these theories flew out of the window.

While Agent Blake doesn't inherently have to be related to The Comedian - after all, Blake isn't that obscure a last name - but the fact that Smart looks pretty spot on for an older Silk Spectre II, and that her last name would technically be her terrible, terrible father's, seems almost too convenient to ignore.

With the potential for both the Spectre and Nite Owl to still be alive, having Laurie be a badass secret agent would unmistakably make for the best reveal in the entire show.
