Westworld: Ranking Every Character From Worst To Best
14. Ashley Stubbs
Westworld's head of security suffers from a bad case of blandness. Nothing about Stubbs sticks with you, and by the end of the season it's easy to forget that he was even a part of the show. Which is a shame, because he had potential.
After doing nothing of consequence for most of the season, Stubbs finally started to become interesting in episode eight. His conversation with Bernard raised his suspicions, and the show sets him up to be the wild card of the season's climax. But that is swiftly thrown out the window in the following episode when Stubbs is attacked by hosts and never seen again.
If that turns out to be the end of Ashley, he will have been a completely unnecessary character. Hopefully Stubbs will return next season and play a more important role.
