Westworld Season 2 Review: 10 Spoiler-Free Reactions To The First Five Episodes

4. It Can Still Surprise Us

Season 1 felt, at times, less like on coherent story or character piece than it did a series of reveals - the show was, in part at least, built upon plot twists and mysteries designed to send Reddit theory mad.

Given how many of those twists were predicted before they actually happened in the show, there might now be an assumption that people have the show figured out, but thankfully it does still manage to surprise - and on occasion even shock - us.

The first five episodes kick-start their own mysteries that will presumably run the course of the season, and bring with them a number of moments you won't see coming, or plots going ways you won't expect, but importantly it all feels earned and completely important to the characters and their stories, which are placed more at the forefront this time around.
