In Heroes, seemingly random people around the world gradually learn they are developing superpowers. They try to use their abilities to prevent a catastrophe while they are being hunted by superpowered serial killer.

In the final episode of Season 4, one of the heroes, Claire, uses her healing ability on live-television, revealing to the world that superhumans exists. While fans were excited to learn how this revelation would affect the world, the network cancelled Heroes after a steady decline in ratings.

At first, you might think, "That wasn't the end! It had a spin-off in 2015 called Heroes: Reborn."

And that's true. The problem is that Heroes: Reborn focused on a different cast so we never had any resolution for the original characters like Claire, Peter, or Hiro. Reborn had some characters return including Mohinder and The Haitian but it was clear fans weren't getting the pay-off they so desperately wanted.

The creator, Tim Kring, stated Heroes: Reborn was intended as a one-off special and he wishes to finish the story of the original characters in some capacity. Considering Heroes ended ten years ago and there is no word about a script for a reprisal, a true conclusion to Heroes seems unlikely.
