One half of South Park's satire savvy duo. Matt Stone being the co-creator of South Park also co-created the large ensemble that never seems to stop expanding, and, like the denizens of South Park, Stone himself is something of a character, too.
These days Matt Stone blends in with the rest of society, but during South Park's infancy he had a look reminiscent of Rage Against the Machine's Zach de la Rocha. His hair wasn't just curly, it was taking over his scalp. As time's arrow moved forward though, Matt Stone's image either advanced or regressed depending on your preference.
Despite the style of his appearance changing, the humour he provides the series with has not followed suit. As his afro began to look like it had been existentially rained on, the challenging storylines he writes along with Parker have never been, and never will be, watered down in the slightest. He may cut his hair like a mature individual now, but it's nice to know that some things never get old.
