3. We Learn More About Joe’s Past
Love and Forty’s family have their own problems, meaning that Joe isn’t the only one with family issues. In Hidden Bodies, he finds acceptance amongst them and is referred to as the “professor” by her family as they note he’s very well-read and intelligent for a non-graduate.
Joe finds a sense of purpose in Los Angeles, which will be great to see, but we will also dive back into Joe’s own family life. Show producer Sera Gamble said: “Joe was already a teenager by the time he even met Mr. Mooney. There’s a lot more to explore about Joe from earlier in his life.”
It will be intriguing to watch these things unfold across Season 2. Learning about Joe’s childhood is something we need to see – although it does not justify his behaviour, it will be helpful to see what could have contributed to how he turned out.
