YOU Season 2: 10 Things That Must Happen

In the book, none of Joe’s neighbours actually existed which includes Paco, Claudia and Ron. At the end of the series, they were seen moving to LA for a fresh start after Joe killed Ron. It’s unclear whether they’ll return in Season 2, but it’s probably unlikely.

There is a new character called Ellie (Jane the Virgin's Jenna Ortega) who seems to be similar to Paco in the sense that she is “secretly living with minimal adult supervision or nurturing in his life.” When things get difficult, Ellie isn’t afraid to work cons on the adults around her, which includes Joe.

The cons should be interesting to watch unfold, because it’s hard to know how Joe will react. Will he get mad at her or will he relate to her being neglected and find a new opportunity to become a teacher?

Now that Paco has moved on, it would be great to see him form a relationship with Ellie. (It would help the pregnancy storyline if that goes forward too, as it would convince us that maybe he can be a dad).

In Hidden Bodies, Amy is a con-artist who tries to commit credit card fraud in Joe's store. It seems Ellie’s character could borrow these sort of tricks from Amy to form her character, which is sure to be fun to watch.
