Young Justice: Outsiders - 4 Ups & 2 Downs From The Season 3 Finale

1. Artemis and Wally's Reunion

Young Justice Finale
DC Universe

Ever since Young Justice returned, fans have been united in their desire to see one thing: Wally West's return.

The original Kid Flash disappeared into the Speed Force in the midst of saving the world during the second season's finale, after which he was presumed dead - and all of us have been eager to see if the long-awaited third season would reverse that. Bafflingly, it never did - but the finale did give us something we've all been dying to see.

As a gift from Zatanna, Artemis was given the chance to visit a spiritual realm and reunite with Wally so that she could say goodbye and, no word of a lie, it was the most moving scene that Young Justice has ever pulled off.

From the return of Jason Spisak as the voice of Wally, to the way that he and Stephen Lemelin (Artemis) effortlessly rekindled that spark between the pair - not to mention that goosebump-inducing music - the whole thing was a heavenly tribute to the greatest relationship to ever grace the show and, if anything, it reminded us just how much it misses Wally.

Though it certainly seemed like a final farewell to the character, the subsequent reveal that it wasn't actually Wally's spirit suggests that we may not have seen the last of our favourite yellow speedster after all. And the chance of that, more than anything, already makes Season 4 worth our time.

Now, for the negatives...
