Young Justice: Outsiders – 7 Major Questions After Episodes 4-6
4. Is There Something Wrong With Wolf?
Ever since bonding with Superboy in Season 1, Wolf has become a regular part of the show. A large white wolf enhanced by Kobra-Venom, he has been invaluable to the team over the years and has become just as integral to the show as any of the other superheroes. However, there is something off about him this season.
In the six episodes released so far, Wolf hasn't done anything other than sleep - so much so that there is even a peaceful end credits sequence devoted to him just sleeping. Moreover, the trusty companion has been rather indifferent to everything around him and even allowed Brion to take the Super-Cycle without putting up a fight. However, the real worrying moment came in 'Away Mission', when M'Gann informed us that Wolf would prefer to sit the important mission out.
Considering he used to have a knack for saving Superboy just in the nick of time, all of these developments are rather troubling. Could Wolf just be experiencing the effects of old age, or is this an adverse side-effect to the Kobra-Venom? But perhaps the most important question is: will he make it out of this season alive?
Let's hope that the team's unlikely hero can overcome the odds and rediscover his strength.
