10 Biggest Heat Generators In UFC History
4. TJ Dillashaw
Since his first appearance on Season 14 of The Ultimate Fighter, TJ Dillashaw has rubbed many fans the wrong way. Dillashaw immediately came across to the audience like an entitled, self centered, arrogant, and worst of all scared fighter, as he started fights with teammates and continually dodged Jon Dodson throughout the show. After all, there is a reason that Akira Corassani and Diego Brandao (two of Dillashaw’s teammates on the show) made a pact to knock out TJ in training.
On top of this, fans were turned off of Dillashaw even more after the circumstances of him leaving Team Alpha Male were brought to light. Conor McGregor actually played a large part in this during Season 22 of The Ultimate Fighter. Conor repeatedly launched verbal attacks at TJ and voiced his concern at Urijah Faber’s willingness to let “that snake in the grass” come onto the show.
Follow all of this up with TJ’s recent failed drug test for EPO and fans have never hated him more. What makes this worse is that Cody Garbrandt called out TJ Dillashaw for steroid use, and EPO specifically, at a press conference almost a year before he finally got caught. This has made many fans wonder just how long has Dillashaw been cheating? The failed drug test certainly diminishes his career and even discredits his two knockout wins over Cody Garbrandt, which many fans believe Dillashaw cheated for as well.
At least Dillashaw haters across the world have the image of Henry Cejudo knocking him out in 30 seconds, so there is some justice in the world.
