3. Volkan Oezdemir Vs. Dominick Reyes
It's been a long time coming, but the UFC's light heavyweight division has been hotting up recently with the likes of Johnny Walker and Thiago Santos all meeting the fresh, new blood quota after some impressive victories. Another fighter who has the potential to become something special in the division is Dominick Reyes.
For a big man, he's exceptionally athletic and that certainly helps him inside the Octagon. However, he's also very technical and has a good idea of when to transition between striking and grappling in a fluid fashion.
His opponent, Volkan Oezdemir, is well known for having impressive knockout power, finishing the likes of Misha Cirkunov and Jimi Manuwa en route to his title shot against Daniel Cormier. The problem with Oezdemir is that he's exceptionally dangerous for a round and then quickly tires out. That's going to be a problem against someone as well conditioned as Reyes, who should get a bump up the rankings after earning the win.
