UFC's 5 Biggest Winners And Losers In November
November was a tough month for more than one UFC legend.
The month of November started out with one of the most anticipated cards of the year and also gave us one of the least.
Of course, things kicked off with the battle for the BMF title at UFC 244. This highly anticipated pay-per-view featured a stacked card, headlined by two of the toughest fighters around in Jorge Masvidal and Stockton's own Nate Diaz.
From there, the promotion headed to Moscow, Russia, for UFC Fight Night: Zabit vs. Kattar. The star-starved event was headlined by Zabit Magomedsharipov and Calvin Kattar. This mostly forgettable Fight Night primarily featured lesser-known Russian fighters competing in front of their home crowd.
Lastly, the final card of the month, UFC Fight Night: Blachowicz vs. Jacare, featured the return of two legends in Ronaldo 'Jacare' Souza and former middleweight king Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua; though it wasn't a triumphant homecoming for either man.
Moreover, as usual , there were also plenty of fighters who made headlines outside the cage as well.
With that in mind, it's time to find out whose stock increased the most this November and whose took a major hit.
Let's get to it.
10. Stock Up: Jorge Masvidal
The month's biggest winner has to be the new BMF champ himself, Jorge 'Gamebred' Masvidal.
After pulling off the fastest knockout in UFC history last July, Masvidal followed it up with an impressive TKO victory over Nate Diaz, while headlining one of the most talked-about cards of 2019.
In a year's time, Masvidal has gone from being perceived as a journeyman fighter, to becoming one of the sport's biggest stars, and his win over Diaz only served to heighten his profile.
The 35-year-old out of Miami, Florida, is now a certified pay-per-view headliner and has become a major attraction for the UFC.
Masvidal has set himself for a big 2020 that will no doubt feature both big named opponents and sizeable paydays.
