In his prime, former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua was one of the pound-for-pound best and has been a part of some of the most memorable fights the sport has ever seen.

However, the result of his recent bout at UFC Fight: Blachowicz vs. Jacare, suggests the 37-year-old may have indeed entered the twilight of his career.

For his part, Craig is a serviceable UFC fighter, who has a knack for coming up with late-round finishes. That being said, he's also the type of guy a prime 'Shogun' would have dispatched with relative ease. To be fair, Craig was a late replacement, and Rua didn't have a full training camp to prepare. Still, on paper, Craig looked like the perfect opponent for Rua to get a showcase win in front of his home crowd in Brazil.

It's possible Rua simply had a bad night at the office, but a draw against a fighter the caliber of Paul Craig, with a hometown advantage, certainly doesn't help his stock.
