UFC's 5 Biggest Winners And Losers In November

3. Stock Down: Johnny Walker

Heading into UFC 244, rising light heavyweight star Johnny Walker had finished his last three opponents in the first round and was beginning to look like the man who could finally dethrone Jon Jones. At 6'5", the Brazilian prospect is a rangy fighter with a knack for making short work of his opponents, and he'd looked unstoppable since debuting on Dana White's Contender Series.

However, on 2 November, it was Walker who would end up on the receiving end of an early first-round stoppage, at the hands of Corey Anderson.

Had Walker been able to get past Anderson, there's a good chance he'd be fighting for the UFC light heavyweight strap in early-2020. Now, he'll likely need to put together a two to three-fight winning streak to earn a title shot.

Walker is still only 27 and likely has a very bright future ahead of him. The recent setback simply means his path to UFC gold just got a bit longer.
