1. Tiffy & Trish Has Been Too Rushed

You can't move for the last-minute vibes going on for the bout between Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus at Evolution. This is a topic Trish herself has been bringing up in the media lately, which might not be something Triple H appreciates. The legend has a point though, being fair. WWE left it a little too late to make her comeback title bout special, and they deserve criticism for that.

Friday's in-ring promo segment with Wade Barrett was flagging big time before Naomi interrupted to talk about holding Money In The Bank then Jade Cargill ambushed her from behind. It blows for Trish and Tiffy, but their title match is less interesting than what’s going on between Naomi and Jade. Also, why is Stratton coming across as a stuck up heel despite everyone in WWE telling you she’s some super-likeable babyface?

Her presentation is sketchy, and this just wasn’t good at all.

Stratton's wooden/overly rehearsed-sounding dialogue aside, these women had paper thin material to see them through. Tiffany chose Stratus to prove herself as a worthy champion (erm...didn't beating the likes of Bayley, Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax do that?), and Trish wants to prove she still has something in the tank. Another month or so of build might've helped with that second part.

Neither champ nor challenger came out looking like a priority in this segment, which is a real problem. There really should've been more thought and care put into this, but it played out like somebody filling some spare time when booking in the old EWR sim games.

Bonus points if you remember those classic wrestling video games.
