1. Jelly Roll’s Segment…Rescues The Show?!

Right, so your writer didn't see this one coming whatsoever, but Jelly Roll was excellent in his skit with Logan Paul, Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre. His facial expressions were on point, the way he spoke on the mic was natural and believable, and the live crowd were fired up for the idea of him putting LP in his place. Is Jelly about to become the next celeb sensation in WWE?!

Some will hate the mere thought of that (get him to replace from Def Rebel entrance themes though).

There was a funny moment when Paul called Jelly a celeb outsider who had no place in his industry too. That coaxed some rant out of Randy - he wanted to put Paul in his place for showing such a blatant lack of self-awareness. This distraction left Orton open to a McIntyre Claymore Kick that was revenge for last week’s RKO. The whole thing played out silky smooth.

Yeah, this rescued the episode from oblivion, and who honestly saw that coming when it was revealed that f'n Jelly Roll would probs be involved in a major angle heading into SummerSlam? If this is a sign of things to come with the musician on WWE TV, then we're all in for a treat. Nah, this guy can't believe he's gushing with praise for any of this either. Trust!

Not many could've had, 'Jelly Roll is the only major positive from an episode of SmackDown' on their bingo cards heading into 2025. It just happened, people. We're in the moment living it. Next stop: Roll hitting a 450 splash in MetLife Stadium at SummerSlam. Place your bets now...
