10 "Superstars" You Totally Forgot Were On The WWE Roster

1. Chad Gable

Chad Gable needs to go to AEW.

This isn't the typical forum post-turned-list entry in which a writer pleads for your patience explaining a complex script in which a wrestler makes an enormous career decision simply to service some sort of fantasy booking scenario. Gable fits the bill for the subjects of this sort of story - he's underused and over-talented, in credit with the company that should be giving him more as payback for noble duty. Ultimately, all the stuff you have more chance of loving just by virtue of reading this right now.

Gable has proven with too much frequency just how good he can be at every aspect of the industry. He was sidesplitting as Jason Jordan's colleague in NXT, dragging the pair to spotlighted positions just so they could both show how amazing they were bell-to-bell. He did the same again, in bizarre fashion, for Shelton Benjamin. And then Bobby Roode. He's somehow found a spot worse than "singles utility guy" - he's the tag team fixer-upper.

It can't and won't last. Gable is too good to rot in a system that doesn't deserve him, not least whilst he could trial an entirely new version of himself elsewhere.

Chad Gable needs to go to AEW.
