10 "Superstars" You Totally Forgot Were On The WWE Roster

6. Harper

Harper let the entire world know he was still around over WrestleMania weekend thanks to a banger of a battle at Axxess with Dominik Dijakovic and a surprise spell in the Andre The Giant Battle Royal on the 'Show Of Shows' kickoff.

And then? Nothing.

Well, less than nothing, in fact. After initially framing his 'Show Of Shows' weekend as a humbling restart after a failed Bludgeon Brothers run in 2017, Harper rather admirably accepted his lot and vowed to work his way back to the top of the card as others before had done. That sharp changed when word got round that Vince McMahon was reported to have offered a rather scathing assessment of his skills.

The Chairman allegedly didn't "understand" or "get" him, instead finding fault with the fact he couldn't do a southern accent. Harper subsequently asked for his release from the roster...

...and didn't get it.

Indeed, some may be forgiven for thinking he's on the roster because he is. Harper's now inactive, sitting out his time until his contract ends in November...at which point WWE will add six months thanks to prior injury inactivity. Talent may have some power back thanks to the impending wrestling war, but promoters will always have spite on their side.
