Turning the slightly embarrassing development into a reason to tune into television each week, Slater likely knew he was in sink or swim territory on the back of the rosters being split in two.

Rather than flounder, though, the former 3MB man managed to gradually get over with the masses in his attempts to earn himself a Raw or SmackDown contract. And instead of being permanently buried as a loser jobber for the remainder of his run with the company, something magical happened in the wake of one fateful discussion with Brock Lesnar in the middle of a red ring.

After completely forgetting his original lines and fumbling out a panicked statement about his kids to the Beast, Lesnar's subsequent "I don't give a sh** about your kids" soon suplexed Slater to unexpected singles popularity.

Before he knew what hit him - other than Brock - Heath was presented with his first singles star t-shirt with said catchphrase slapped on the front. And it wasn't long before he was celebrating both a SmackDown Tag Team title win with Rhyno and that long-awaited contract, too.
